Public Relations _ Lanim, Muara Enim – As an effort to improve performance, especially in the security sector, Head of Muara Enim Herdianto and 15 of its members underwent a Psychological Test on the Use of Borrowing and Using Firearms (Pengpin) at the South Sumatra Police. Tuesday, (12/04/2022).
The activity was led directly by the Head of Head of Muara Enim Herdianto, accompanied by the Head of KPLP Ressy Setiawan and Kasiminkamtib Agusnadi.
Head of Muara Enim Headquarters Herdianto explained that the implementation of this Psychological Test aims to determine the readiness of Muara Enim Prison officers in using firearms while on duty, as well as the extent to which an officer makes a decision that will later be appropriate and meet the requirements for using guns.
“In addition to the Psychological Test, the extension of the License for the Possession of Firearms (BPSA) and the Issuance of the Use of Borrowing and Using Firearms (Pengpin) and the Transport of Weapons are also carried out,” he said.
Today’s active implementation is principally an effort to improve the performance and competence of officers in the security sector, in this case the use of weapons, which must be in accordance with SOPs in handling Kamtib disturbances,” he added.

On that occasion, Kompol Suparyono of Psychology of the HR Bureau of the South Sumatra Police gave an explanation to Muara Enim Prison officers regarding the SOP for the Use of Borrowing and Using Firearms.
